Why I'm running
Wasaga deserves a voice who listens first.
Our town is changing fast. Tourism, development, housing pressure: the decisions made at council over the next four years will shape Wasaga for decades. I'm running because those decisions should be made with the people who live here, not behind closed doors.
I've called Wasaga home for 14 years. I've watched this community step up for each other when it counted. We deserve representation that does the same: picks up the phone, reads the report, and tells you the truth when the easy answer doesn't match reality.

The priorities
What I
stand for.
Six priorities, rooted in Wasaga and built for the next four years.
Your town hall
Respect every tax dollar with responsible spending and clear, easy-to-read budgets, timelines, and capital plans, while being an accessible and accountable Councillor for residents. Knowledge is power, and openness builds trust.
Community first
Be accessible, listen to residents before major decisions, and support the community groups and volunteers that make Wasaga stronger.
Infrastructure
Wasaga Beach is growing quickly, and our infrastructure and community amenities need to keep pace. We cannot allow important needs outside Beach 1 to continually be pushed down the road.
Your beach
Protect what makes Wasaga special, invest responsibly, complete current commitments at Beach 1 as fast as possible to recover our funds, and make sure residents come first.
Housing that fits
Responsible growth that keeps Wasaga affordable for the people who already live here.
Protecting what we love
Environmental stewardship that preserves Wasaga Beach for the next generation.
Wasaga Beach resident · Candidate for Town Council
Meet Dan
Your neighbour. Your candidate.
I've called Wasaga Beach home for 14 years. I've built roots here, and seen first-hand what our town needs to thrive. I'm running for council because Wasaga Beach deserves representation that listens more than it talks, and gets things done without the drama.
Approachable, practical, and proudly local. I'm ready to put residents first, and build a community together.

When is the Wasaga Beach municipal election?
October 26, 2026, as part of Ontario's regular municipal elections. Nominations open May 1, 2026 and close August 21, 2026.
